Chapter Members, Archtober 2023 upon us and the calendar for the month is full of architecture activities, tours and learning opportunities. It’s Chalk the Block Weekend today and WiA is hosting the Streetcar tour as part of the CTB festivities. The tour starts from the Convention Center Streetcar stop at 2:00pm. Also today at the El Paso History Museum is the annual AIA Lego Build - an annual tradition for Chalk the Block weekend to engage with the kids of the community. Come out to downtown today to share the joy of architecture with the community! This coming week we have the Lépold Lambert lecture hosted by the TTU College of Architecture happening at the Union Depot on Wednesday, October 18th at 5:30pm. The SOLD OUT El Paso Architecture Foundation’s 24th annual Golf Tournament is also happening this week We hope you are already registered to play and have dusted off those clubs. We have had an amazing response with twenty-seven professional and four student entries submitted this year. Also we have some important business happening at this month’s chapter meeting were we will be voting on our 2024 Executive Committee. Please make plans to attend and vote for the coming year’s Chapter leadership. The Eco El Paso Annual Conference is also coming up on October 24th-26th where you can get your CNUa credits for the year fulfilled! The cost is only $85 to attend the conference that will be hosted at the City of El Paso’s Center for Civic Engagement at the Blue Flame Building. REGISTER TODAY to attend Eco Paso 2023.
