Education Outreach Committee
The Education Outreach Committee (EO) serves as a hub connecting students, educators, design professionals, and the broader community to promote the value and impact of architecture. The committee is dedicated to expanding access to architectural education, fostering diverse talent, and building a strong pipeline for the profession while supporting civic engagement and community awareness.
Chair: Paola Muniz-Garcia, Assoc. AIA
This Committee supports our local communities through:
Educational outreach and engagement with Kâ12 students and educators
Increasing public awareness of architecture and its role in shaping safe, sustainable, and inclusive communities
Presentations, workshops, and interactive events with schools and community partners
Collaboration with the AIA El Paso Community Outreach Director and allied organizations
Development of long-term, sustainable outreach initiatives and partnerships
The committee also facilitates the exchange of information, resources, and best practices among programs that support education and community engagement, while continuing to explore new and flexible ways to expand its impact.
